attack of the new pencils!

another 80 arrived yesterday of a type that's allowing me to work into the drawings like never before. here's the update. big blue got the most time yesterday.

my new faber-castell watercolor pencil set arrived yesterday..after sharpening all 120 I found new colors that helped the gestation of all 4 of these current pieces. 4 hours only got me so far though..but today is another day!

another good day's work put in yesterday. I have a new one to start today besides plans for half a dozen or more pieces that are already underway.

this was my first in the ongoing series of art based on pix men post of themselves, acrylic 9" square, from 2007. I've sadly lost track of this handsome man's name (I found him on bigmusclebears.com), but would love to send him a scan of this if I find him again!
